Forty years ago, this journey began not in a boardroom, but in the heart of our home. As we started what would become a lifelong mission in hospitality, the very children I was feeding out of my kitchen were watching, learning, and growing alongside the business. Today, it is my greatest joy to see those same children, now the second generation, leading our team with the same imagination and heart that started it all.

Hospitality has always been my natural language. I grew up in a home where the dining room table seemed to magically expand to accommodate anyone who walked through the door. I remember the rhythmic ritual of polishing silver for fancy parties and the nights of goulash in the oversized yellow Pyrex bowl. Even in my teen years, I found my passion in the kitchen, creating menus and serving my parents and their friends during "adults-only" evenings, fueled by a desire to take care of people through food.

This spirit of service was a gift from my grandmother, a Swedish immigrant who catered at the Swedish Club and homes around Seattle. In her kitchen, she taught me that a cookie should be as beautiful as it is delicious, and that a stunning buffet is a form of art. She instilled in me the "loving care" that I eventually took out of my own kitchen and into the homes of our clients.

What began as a passion project has evolved into a heart-centered company. While I am proud of the thousands of celebrations we have touched, I am most moved by the community of "amazing human beings" who now run the daily operations. Seeing the next generation infuse the business with fresh enthusiasm and growth, while staying true to our roots of silver-polish excellence and Swedish-inspired grace, is the ultimate reward.

We aren't just catering events; we are continuing a story that began at my family table, and we are honored to have a seat at yours.
