When DSquared expanded to include daily operations across four locations, we knew it was time to expand our HR team to keep up with our ever-growing staff. As our Staffing Operations Manager, Matt’s job is to make sure everyone on our team is on-boarded and up to date with company protocols. This role keeps him bouncing between our various kitchens and offices depending on which team is actively hiring, training, or in need of a little extra support.
What makes Matt an expert in all things DSquared? “It’s in my blood,” says the son of David & Meg Haggerty, who ran our events as a Lead Server for several years. He also paid his dues in the industry, away from the family biz, when he spent two years as a sous chef at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA.
When Matt’s not filing social security cards or amping up the team’s spirit, he can be found drinking coffee by bonfires, eating soup, and planting (and hugging) trees.
