As the Operations Manager for Muse, Davids & Co, and concessions and catered events at Benaroya Hall, one of Ryan’s most important jobs is ensuring a “guest first” experience – from menu presentation and on-site hospitality, to following up and collecting guest feedback. Ryan credits his managerial skills to extensive on-the-job training at Il Fornaio and other kitchens, seminars in wine, spirits, coffee, and human relations, and most importantly, to his dedication to service. “I love people,” he says, “In particular, I love serving people. I tried a lot of other occupations before finding my passion for hospitality.”
20 years, and many “Employee of the Month” awards later, and we are thrilled to have Ryan on our team after he was recruited by our Event Manager, Emily Schiller, (who also happens to be his wife!) When they aren’t working together, Ryan and Emily love to spend time outdoors, or at home with good food and friends.
