Ivy keeps our Benaroya Hall deck stacked. She schedules and supervises our staff and orders inventory, which she then sets up and takes down before and after shifts. She’s been our go-to-gal at Benaroya since 2016 and, despite her formal training in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, she claims there is nothing like on-the-job training, citing the mentorship of Darren and Ryan.
Ivy’s favorite part of her job is making genuine connections by “having conversations and learning about our guests and their stories.” Her talent for making others feel comfortable also explains how she earned our company award for Leadership in 2017. In her off-hours, Ivy sticks to a seasonal regiment of cozy nights knitting inside in winter and long summer days spent fishing.
